A-level results

on thursday 17th August i went into school with matty to get my results. i (reluctantly) opened my envelope within a minute ogf getting it to discover what i got:

AS Further Maths -A (298/300)
Maths - A (283/300, 298/300)
AS Theatre Studies - A (294/300)
Physics - A (298/300, 276/300)
Chemistry - A (294/300, 268/300)

i am pleased as this means i can go to durham uni to study maths. all of my school friends i have spoken to have also got all A's (i have smart friends)


a few weeks ago i went to lanzarote for two weeks with matt and his family. it was a good holiday. (if a little different to what i am used to!) when matt comes back to london he will bring my camera as i left it at his house so i will update with a few piccies!

a couple of weeks before that i went to lee abbey with my family and matt. (lee abbey is a christian centre thing...it is a bit like a hotel and it is brill) i got loads from it and it gave me loads to think about. the speaker was dave hopwood and he was talking about films and using film within our own lives and the church.

speaking of church...i have decided to leave the church i am at (and have been going to since i was born). this is a MAJOR thing for me. i cant really go into details as to why i decided to leave but it is basically cos i aint comfortable there anymore and i aint getting much from it to develope my relationship with God. this will probs not actually make much of a difference to me as i am going to uni soon but actually making a decision has helped. it is not final and i may go back but for the time being i am going to try other local churches.
